Meetings
The
Dumfries & Galloway Group meets at the Macmillan Cancer
Centre at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary on the second
Tuesday of every month (except January and August) from
7pm to 9pm.
|
|
Meetings
are free and we usually have a guest speaker, expert in some
form of Prostate Cancer treatment and management, or in a
topic of local interest to members.
Meetings
also provide patients with an opportunity to chat informally
with fellow patients and carers over a cup of coffee.
|
|
Although
this group is still in its infancy, it has made progress this year
and the future looks promising. Since an advertising campaign after
last Christmas we now have a healthy attendance at meetings.
