	Meetings The Fife Support Group meets in the Maggie's Centre, Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy on the third Wednesday of each month (except June, July, August, December and January).
Meetings are free and we usually have a guest speaker, expert in some form of Prostate Cancer treatment and management, or in a topic of local interest to members. Meetings also provide patients with an opportunity to chat informally with fellow patients and carers over a cup of coffee.

At our recent meetings members have discussed various subjects, i.e. travel insurance, hot flushes, hair loss, sores, spots, and fatigue. We hope to invite speakers on other subjects - nutrition, sexual effects, and Social Workers in the New Year (2008).

New information leaflets about the group have been distributed to all Fife hospitals, the Maggie's Centre and Doctors' practices.

We have been informed that the recently established Urology Centre in Ward 8 of the Victoria Hospital will be on site for the next six years before moving back to the Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.
