Gleason Grading - In more detail

There are several grading systems for Prostate Cancer, but the Gleason system is the most common.

It is based on a score of 2 (the lowest) to 10 (the highest).

Lower scores 2-4 mean that the cancer cells look similar to the normal cells.

A score of 5-6 is intermediate.

A score of 7-10 means the cancer cells are more likely to be advanced.
